A Town with Historic Charm

Before becoming an industrial hub of the Kanto region, Yuki was a thriving castle town. Northern parts of the city retain many historic buildings built by former rulers, and include temples and shrines that house large and valuable collections of paintings and Buddhist statues, and stone - masonry warehouses. In spring and autumn, the area is thronged by visitors who come to savor a piece of the past.
Southern districts of the city present a more contemporary face with highways cutting across the typically rural landscape. New residential areas are being erected, and sport facilities, culture centers and shopping complexes are sprouting up to cater to the growing population.
While working to carefully preserve the integrity of its rich historic and cultural heritage, Yuki is also looking to the future, evolving into a city that can offer its residents the best of a colorful past with all the comfort and convenience of the 21st - century.
“Tsuiji - bei,” a tile - roofed, white earthen wall, serves as a reminder of the city’s castle town past.

An industrial complex along a main highway, the park has contributed to the city’s economy by attracting a broad array of companies manufacturing electronics parts, nonferrous metals, and plastics products.
